    So, as I was mentioning elsewhere, we’ve been looking at an improved server design, leveraging several new technologies we’ve only just become aware of. I wrote up a document with the design, and decided to share it:

  • I think it is a good architecture. Shard servers is very important. You can up and down lot of entities like you want. Even if a space zone is empty, maybe you can make down the process, and relaunch if needed later.

    I wonder if you don’t need a main process at least, just to keep something homogeneous between all the world (market place, global state, …). It can be workaround by managing well the state by database, but I wonder if it will with good performance
